153rd Birthday Party, Cake & Climb, 1:00 pmHAPPY BIRTHDAY, ABSECON LIGHTHOUSE: The Lighthouse was first lit on January 15, 1857 so it's time to celebrate over 150 years at the Jersey shore. You' ll be treated to cake and a free climb of our 171-foot-tall tower, the tallest in New Jersey. FREE ADMISSION.

Guys’ & Girls’ Fashion Show & Fishbowl Auction
Join us for a happy hour of fashion, food and fun!  The Lighthouse is teaming up with The Walk in Atlantic City to show off the latest spring and summer fashions.  There will also be a Fishbowl & Silent Auction.  With complimentary appetizers & a cash bar, this event at the Atlantic City Country Club is sure to please.  Doors open at 5:30.  Tickets are just $30.00.

Buccaneer DayBe a Pirate Day
Argh, matey!  Explore the fact and fiction of the pirates that sailed the seas and pay special attention to discover the secrets of the pirates rumored to spend time on the New Jersey shore.  Meet some real wandering rogues and enjoy a swashbuckling show!  Pirate-themed games, crafts and snacks are included as well.  The party gets started at 12:00 noon and the show begins at 1:00 pm.  Tickets are $10.00 for children, $5.00 for adults and include all the day’s activities as well as a climb of New Jersey’s tallest lighthouse!
YOU CAN UPGRADE YOUR PIRATE DAY WITH A JOLLY ROGER CRUISE! Enjoy a 45-minute cruise out of Gardner's Basin aboard AC Cruises Cruisin' 1 to exlpore the sea and search for pirates. For a ticket price of just $15 PER PERSON, enjoy all of the Pirate Day activites at the Lighthouse and the Jolly Roger Cruise.

There are lots of ways to help support Absecon Lighthouse during our annual Golf Tournament.  As an Individual Player, your $100 gets you a cart, lunch, awards dinner and tee package as well as a voucher for one FREE round of golf at a later date.  Other sponsorships are available for interested businesses and individuals who may not be able to join us at the links.  $100 Hole Sponsorships include a beautifully crafted sign at each hole promoting your latest project.  $500 Lunch Sponsorships include your banner at lunch, acknowledgement in the Tournament Day Program, 2 Individual Golf Players and 2 additional tickets to our Awards Dinner.  $1,000 Awards Party Sponsorships include your banner at dinner, acknowledgement in the Tournament Day Program, 4 Individual Players and 2 additional tickets to our Awards Dinner. Lunch and dinner catered by Mangia by the Green.  Join us at the gorgeous MuCullough’s Emerald Golf Links in Egg Harbor Township for a day of relaxing golf, knowing that your support helps one of Atlantic City’s most treasured landmarks.  Registration & lunch begin at 11:30 am and a 12:30 pm shotgun start.

MermaidThese fun-filled Wednesdays run through July & August, 11 am to 3 pm.  We’ll be offering themed snacks, games, crafts & stories.  Even though school’s out, there’s never been a better time to learn something new at Absecon Lighthouse!  $10 admission fee for children includes all activities and a climb of New Jersey’s tallest lighthouse.  Adults $5.  Click here for more information.

Full Moon Climbs 

For the first time this summer, the Absecon Lighthouse will offer nighttime climbs of New Jersey’s tallest lighthouse to correspond with the calendar’s full moons.  See Atlantic City like you have never seen it before.

National Lighthouse Day
Help support and preserve the beauty and history of NJ’s tallest lighthouse in honor of the special day.  Absecon Lighthouse will be open from 10:00am – 5:00pm, and we will be offering light refreshments.  Regular admission rates apply ($7 adults, $5 seniors, $4 children)
John Mock Concert
Also in honor of National Lighthouse Day, renowned musician and photographer John Mock will present his unique multimedia maritime concert presentation “From The Shoreline” at Absecon Lighthouse in Atlantic City, NJ.  A native of Connecticut’s eastern shore, John grew up on the ocean and often spent nights playing on the Long Island Sound ferry boat his father captained.  From New England to Chincoteague to Ireland, the Atlantic’s beautiful coastline and quaint villages, its wooden boats and whitewashed lighthouses, continue to inspire and inform John’s art. He has worked on stage and in the studio with such notable artists as the Dixie Chicks, James Taylor, Nanci Griffith, Maura O’Connell, Sylvia, Kathy Mattea and Mark O’Connor.  Soft spirits and light bites are included.   Tickets are $35
